Operating from their purpose-built Farmstore and Kitchen on a 50-acre native bush property, founders Gus and Jana prioritise minimising their ecological footprint. Their kitchen ensures zero fruit waste by adjusting to seasonal harvests, while their glass jar reuse scheme and repurposed packaging keep waste low. Actively supporting Otago Peninsula biodiversity and local community fundraising, this family-led business beautifully demonstrates that commercial excellence can go hand-in-hand with sustainability, preserving a better future. Augustines of Central have been awarded multiple OFPA accolades; including 2021 Farro Earth Champion for Augustines of Central, Black Doris Plums in Pinot Noir Syrup.
