    2022

    150 NZ-made chocolates from 31 chocolate makers were judged in Auckland in October 2022.. New Wairarapa chocolatier Johnty Tatham, aka Lucid Chocolatier is NZ Chocolate Awards 2022 Supreme Winner with Lucid Chocolatier 68% Port.

    2020

    A new Mahurangi chocolate maker has swept away the competition taking the top gong, at this year’s New Zealand Chocolate Awards. Foundry Chocolate was named NZ Chocolate Awards 2020 Supreme Winner for its Foundry Chocolate Anamalai Estate, India 70%.

    2018

    Hogarth Chocolate, Buttered Toast & Sea Salt is Supreme Winner of the 2018 NZ Chocolate Awards. Judges described this chocolate as ‘irresistible…and flawless’. The 2018 Awards bestowed 48 medals - 15 Gold, 17 Silver and 16 Bronze Medals.

    2017

    Following judging of 125 chocolates, the best of 2017 have been named. Two Supreme Winners are among 70 chocolates receiving accolades. Of the 125 chocolate products judged seven received Best in Class and 69 received Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals.
